Учредиха награда на името на Корней Чуковски

Кметът на Москва Юрий Лужков обяви за учредяването на литературна награда на името на Корней Чуковски. Засега се знае само, че наградният фонд е три милиона рубли и че наградата ще е ежегодна.

Заедно с учредяването на наградата на името на Корней Чуковски стана известно, че през първата десетдневка на декември през 2007 г. ще се организира фестивал на детската литература, който също ще носи името на Чуковски.

През 2007 г. се навършват 125 години от рждението на Чуковски.
Съюзът на писателите в Русия пък учреди награда на името на Чуковски – „Златният крокодил”. Нейните лауреати ще бъдат посочени на 10 септември в Переделкино, където, в датата на Чуковски, ще се състои детски празник „Довиждане, лято”.
